Laura Martz

Laura Martz just bailed on a graduate program in cultural theory, so just call her a global freelancer. She likes to exhort people to undermine order - she's been writing on plagiarism, squatting, and radio piracy (she worked for legal radio and for Amsterdam pirates). She likes to write about travel and transport in the broadest sense. Martz looks at pop culture from a socially critical/conscious perspective (but with a sense of humor, which is why she can't bear to be in academia). She has written for Red Herring, Mediamatic, Perforations, and Cultronix.
