Amee Evans
Amee Evans (evans@interval.com) is a video artist who is building interactive tools and environments. While working on her master's degree at the Interactive Telcommunications Program at New York University, Amee added a navigable space to the department's interactive television show, Yorb, which airs on Manhattan cable. Her space, called Ritual Ground Zero, allowed four participants to jam on live TV, playing samples of gamelan music triggered by their touch-tone phones. Evans writes that her latest QuickTimes are designed to supply "emotions-on-demand and the beginning of a palette of reusable emotional messages."
