Erik Adigard/M.A.D.

Erik Adigard submitted this explanation of his work:

Oxycephalic Occident: The paradox of power and self-destruction.

The pushers of narcosemantics have rationalized and compressed our language by reducing the time for breathing, the time for poetry, and the time for insight. Communicators can accept or reject the old game ... seduce, addict, and pollute.

M.A.D. resists the blender of lowest common denominators and searches for an alternative way to tell the story.

A new language will emerge.

M.A.D.: Erik Adigard, Patricia McShane, and Mark Smith
