Live '95 - Live on the Internet Courtesy of Demon Internet

14th September 1995

LIVE '95, the consumer electronics show, will be coming alive next week (September 19-24th) at London's Earls Court, where key exhibitors include Demon Internet, the UK's largest provider of Internet connectivity.

And even if you can't make it in person to the show, Demon Internet will be providing the latest reports - in sound and motion - on the Internet's World Wide Web. This means that you can experience the show from the comfort of your own living room, with no more effort than a few keyboard commands.

Demon Internet is the official Internet provider to the show, and the provider of the official LIVE '95 web pages. If you want to find out who's going to be at the show, and where, information can be accessed at: http://www.demon.co.uk/LIVE95/

At least 2 million Internet users in the UK and 30 million world-wide will be able to tune into LIVE '95 in this way.

Demon Internet will have a roving cameraman who will be sending images from around the show, live onto the Web, including the Capital 95.8FM stand which will be hosting a battle of the bands competition, launched by Craig McLaughlan, and will have presenters Dr Fox, Pat Sharp, Mick Brown and Martin Collins in attendance.

Other stars at the show include Joanna Lumley, Mr Motivator, The Gladiators, Victor Ubogo and Caron Keating.

The Demon Internet stand will be playing host to Donna & Kbb (formerly Donna & Kebab, who have made regular appearances on national TV and radio, and who have recently received favourable reviews at the Edinburgh Festival). The two actresses will be injecting a healthy dose of humour into presentations explaining what the Internet is, how it can be used, and discussing topical issues all covered on the Internet.

Demon Internet's famous "Demonettes" - their devilishly good sales team - will be in attendance every day to help consumers with questions and queries about the Internet.

Demon Internet is at stand 6300.

Demon Internet charges GBP 12.50 (+VAT) one-off start-up fee, plus GBP 10 (+VAT) per month. There are no additional on-line costs, and technical support is provided free. Contact sales@demon.net (tel: 0181 371 1234).
