What is World Wide Profile Registry (WWPR)?

WWPR is an central database for personal profiles of Internet users from all over the globe. WWPR is your complete profile registry.
Although access to these user profiles is free to anyone through the World Wide Web (WWW), there is a one-time registration fee of $6.00 to enter your personal profile information.
A keyword search will locate persons by any of the following, when the owner of the profile has chosen to include that information in their public profile.

Email address
Previous email address
Alias (as used in irc channels)
City or State
Country
Birthdate
Real name
Personal interests
Occupation

WWPR is the easy way to locate people you wish to meet or have lost contact with. Do you know someone's irc "alias"? Now you can learn more about them and send them private email. Are you looking for someone in your town that has similar interests? The keyword search will find them.

With WWPR's new WWW service, when you enroll, you will be listed along with all other World-Wide Registrants of WWPR.

Registrants may be certain that WWPR will NEVER sell or pass on to any third party, any mailing lists or other information contained in your personal profile - except when found through a keyword search on WWPR.

Mail (via "snail mail") a photograph with your email address printed on the back. Or uuencode a photo and email it to wwpr@wizard.com. We will include it as part of your profile at no additional cost.

The one-time minimal charge of six dollars US helps defray the cost of running this service and allows you to make occasional changes to your profile. As well, a portion of the proceeds will go to the Nevada Zoological Park & Botanical Garden in Las Vegas, Nevada. Just complete this on-line application and submit it to WWPR via your WWW software (lynx, Mosaic or other).
