WCMC provides information services to users ranging from governments, development agencies, non-governmental organisations and multinational corporations to individual scientists, journalists and conservationists. Information originates from a vast array of field scientists, park managers, conservation agencies, and research institutes covering every country of the world. WCMC's function is to bring the information together in a manner that facilitates its access and availability for improved conservation and development practice.
