Legend has it that the Society of Janus is the second oldest continually running S&M organization in the United States. (If your looking for the oldest, click here.) We are also the largest such organization on the West Coast.

Janus was founded in 1974 as an educational an support group in the city of San Francisco. We are concentrated mostly in the Bay Area, but we have members scattered across the globe! Find out more about us!
