For users who want more capabilities than are provided with the Basic, Advanced, or Pro subscriptions, Quote.Com offers its ProPlus upgrade. This is a subscription that is added on top of a Pro subscription. It includes everything that is in the Basic subscription plus everything that is in the Advanced upgrade plus everything that is in the Pro upgrade plus these features: The cost of the ProPlus service is $13.00 per month in addition to the cost of the Pro subscription. Normally, we will bill your credit card at the beginning of each month, though we can also invoice you via email.

Description

ProPlus users are limited to 2000 quotes per day on U.S. exchanges plus 100 quotes per day on Canadian exchanges. These are delayed, intraday quotes. Users who need more quotes on Canadian exchanges should add our Canada subscription. Overseas exchanges are not included.

S&P MarketScope Alert
Standard & Poor's MarketScope Alert is a dynamically updated financial market information service containing company profiles, key market developments and opinions, daily commentary, and much more. For more details, look at information on the MarketScope subscription. The ProPlus upgrade limits you to 50 complete MarketScope news stories per day, though you may examine an unlimited number of headlines. ProPlus subscribers will automatically receive via email MarketScope stories that impact stocks in their personal portfolios.
Historical data
Quote.Com keeps historical price and volume data on tens of thousands of symbols worldwide. We have approximately 7 years of data on most U.S. stocks, and 1-2 years on most other symbols. Historical data is kept in ASCII, comma-delimited format which is importable by most third-party charting programs. As a ProPlus subscriber, you may retrieve up to 10 historical data files per day.
Charts
You may create customizable charts on all actively-traded symbols. Quote.Com has 7 years of history for most stocks, and you may add technical indicators and choose daily, weekly, or monthly time periods. The ProPlus upgrade limits you to 25 charts per day. If you require more, we suggest a Chart subscription.
End-of-day portfolio updates
You may keep four portfolios of up to 50 symbols each on our server. At the close of trading each market day you will receive email messages detailing the performance of your portfolios during that trading day.
Portfolio alarm monitoring
You may set "alarms" on the items in your portfolios. These are trigger points (upper and/or lower) which are monitored during the day. If your stock (or commodity, index, etc.) trades through the alarm, we will send you an email notification.
End-of-day update files for all symbols
On our ftp server, we keep files with end-of-day updates for all price/volume quotes on all symbols. You may download the files for the U.S. and Canadian exchanges at no additional charge. In this way you can get updates on over 20,000 symbols. They are ASCII, comma-delimited files which can be imported into most charting programs.
Annual Reports by Mail
Printed annual reports on over 3000 U.S. companies can be mailed to you at no cost, if you live in the United States.
Ticker symbol searches
If you don't know a ticker symbol, search for it using email or WWW.
Retrieval of limited balance sheet data
We provide information on earnings, P/E ratio, yield, and 52-week price range as part of each quote for domestic stocks.
Notification of news alerts on stocks in your portfolio
As part of your daily portfolio update you will sometimes see headlines of news items that have appeared that day for stocks in your portfolio. Subscribers to the BusinessWire and S&P News and PR Newswire services receive the full story automatically, as soon as we receive it. You may also request headlines on other items via email. A comprehensive list of the day's headlines is on ftp.quote.com:/pub/updates/news, for Basic subscribers.

Advertising

In order to use Quote.Com, you must register with us. In order to register you must supply a valid email address. As long as you are a registered Quote.Com user, you will receive informative email messages from us every 1-2 weeks. This is our way of verifying that you are a current user. Some of these messages may contain advertising of products and services related to financial investments. We will try to keep the messages useful, informative, and interesting.

If you do not wish to receive these messages, do not use Quote.Com. You may "unsubscribe" at any time, and we will not send you anything more.
