We are currently developing a series of modular hyper-
textbooks, cases and lab booklets
in computer science, statistics,
marketing research, and in
information and management science.
We are looking for additional authors wishing to
create hypertextual instructional materials.
In general we focus on readings which deal with tasks ordinarily performed on a computer.
No shipping.
Our proposition is that electronic
distribution eliminates much of the overhead found in large
publishing houses.
And eliminates their huge cut as well.
Once you no longer have to move paper around,
the economics of the publishing business is transformed.
Rather than spending millions on distribution, the goal becomes one of
achieving awareness, then
limiting distribution in a way that maximizes compensation for intellectual property.
