The Workshop
Data
Numerical analysis:
- EMMA and MATLAB
- Documentation and tutorials on using MATLAB (a matrix-oriented
numerical analysis tool) to analyze medical image data stored in
the MINC file format, with a specific application to PET rCBF
measurements.
Display:
- Register
- A tool for displaying transverse, sagittal and coronal slices
through one or two image volumes. Designed for multi-modal
registration, it allows image merging and point tagging.
- Postf
- Program to display images from static or dynamic volumetric data
sets. It includes some simple profiling and region-of-interest
operations.
- Display
- Dave MacDonald's visualization program that does everthing from
3D slice display to surface extraction to surface rendering (with
texture mapping) to 3D region painting.
Storage:
- The MINC file format
- An introduction to, and technical documentation for, the standard
file format developed by Peter Neelin at the MNI for storing
volumetric medical imaging data.
Programming
- Programming tools
- An overview of some of the libraries/packages/etc. available to
help with programming (and documentation)
- HTML Tutorial
- How to create WWW-readable documents
