- Here's the text-only

- Information on products including PC/TCP® for DOS/Windows and OS/2.

- Several pages offer tech support, including one presenting

The Windows FAQ
is not an "official" Microsoft publication, but a helpful collection of Windows
information maintained by Tom Haapanen and the Indiana University Support Center.

- Includes Oracle Customer
Support and the online Oracle Magazine.
- Pine
- Includes a User's Guide, a FAQ list, and other information
about the University of Washington's Pine e-mail program.
- Qualcomm
- Qualcomm makes the e-mail program Eudora (free and commercial versions
are available for the Macintosh and Windows platforms).
- Shiva Corporation
- Information from "the remote access specialists."
- Sun Microsystems
- Includes the Service and
Support page.
- Common Internet File
Formats
- Mainly intended for
Macintosh computers. Requires Netscape or another table-friendly browser to
read.
- Multimedia File Formats on the
Internet
- A beginner's guide to
file formats on the Internet, intended for users of IBM-compatible PCs.
- The WIndows 95 Info
Page
- A lot of links to Windows 95-related material.
- The Consummate
Winsock Apps List
- Just about everything you'd ever want to know about Winsock applications,
plus links to other sites with even more info.
- The Cross-Platform
Page
- This page explains how to convert various file formats for use on various
platforms.
- The
Ethernet Page
- This page "provides access to information about Ethernet/IEEE 802.3 local
area network (LAN) technology. This includes the original 10-Mbps system and the
new 100-Mbps Fast Ethernet system."
- PC Lube & Tune
- From Yale, A collection of introductions, tutorials, and education on
technical subjects, including An Introduction to PC Hardware,
Introduction to TCP/IP, and Surviving the Next OS.
- Ziff-Davis Publishing Company
- A guide to the Web versions of several popular computing magazines,
including
PC Computing, PC Week, MacUser and MacWeek.
The text-only version of
this page loads a bit quicker.

- A free (for now), searchable index of articles from a variety of computing
publications.
- Computing Dictionary
- Response time can be slow here, but the dictionary can be useful when you're
looking at an acronym you just can't figure out.
