DIGITAL SOUND:
In the past, recordings were made using analog audio tape. This method was reliable but had many drawbacks, especially for voice recording. First of all, analog tape always produced a noticeable amount of background hiss. This could be overcome to a certain degree with various noise reduction techniques, but transferring from one tape to another caused degradation as multiple stages of noise reduction altered the sound. For recording live events, you faced recording time limitations, unless you sacrificed quality for time. This often meant stopping your seminar or killing time while the recordist changed the tape. Also, this time limitation meant high tape cost due to the expense of analog tape (50¢ to $1.00 per minute depending on fidelity). Finally, and perhaps most importantly, analog tape required you to physically splice the tape in order to edit it. This meant you either worked from a copy, which had lower fidelity due to being transferred from one tape to another, or you took the risk of cutting your only master tape. This made it difficult to change your mind or make changes days or weeks later. With digital recording we solve all of these problems, while gaining maximum fidelity and clarity. Digital tape creates no hiss at all. The only sounds you hear are the ones that were recorded, not the tape itself. Digital recordings can be copied hundreds of times with no perceptible change or degradation. For live recording you can record for over two hours continuously without having to change the tape, while maintaining the highest quality of sound. One of the major advantages of this technology is that tape costs are greatly reduced to roughly 15¢ per minute. It is during the editing phase though, that digital recording has its greatest advantages. Audio editing can be done with the speed, ease, and accuracy of editing text in a word processor. In fact, with digital editing we use no tape at all. Instead, all audio is stored on a hard disk where it can be accessed and manipulated immediately without touching the original recording. This allows for maximum flexibility and the greatest possible speed in editing. All this adds up to a high quality finished product at a price anyone can afford.
LOCATION RECORDING:
Did you know the average person's attention span is less than twenty minutes? The most common statement by attendees to seminars and lectures is, "I wish I had a recording so I could remember everything that was said". You can be sure they remember, while adding a valuable marketing opportunity to your business. Record your seminar, conference, or other live event, in stereo digital sound and capture the event for people to listen to at their leisure while you add another item to your product line.

STUDIO RECORDING:
High quality professional recording no longer has to be expensive. Combine world class studio microphones with high quality digital recorders and editors to produce a polished, professional sound. The public has become accustomed to Compact Discs, Stereo Hi-Fi VCR's, Stereo T.V.'s, and 16 bit stereo sound from their home computers. Don't disappoint them by making a low quality audio recording. This is even more important for voice recordings because the human voice is, for most of us, the most familiar sound to our ears.

DIGITAL EDITING:
The secret to most fine voice recordings is editing. Editing allows mistakes, noises, interruptions, or other unwanted sounds to be removed effortlessly without the listener being aware of any changes. When your original recording is made in a digital format, all editing can be done in the digital domain without any deterioration to the quality of your recording. This means you can be free to make as many changes as you want, without damaging the quality of the original. Recordings made in the older analog formats (cassette, reel-to-reel, etc.) can still be edited digitally. This prevents future generational loss and allows for quick, efficient editing.
- LIVE EVENTS (Clean up unwanted noises and mistakes or remove irrelevant material)
- PRERECORDED MATERIAL
- REORDER MATERIAL (Move material from the beginning to the end, from the end to the middle, etc)
- REPLACE SENTENCES, SINGLE WORDS, EVEN SYLLABLES, WITHOUT DISRUPTING THE FLOW OR CONTEXT OF THE MATERIAL.
- REMOVE COUNT INS, HISS, HUMS, AND OTHER UNWANTED SOUNDS FROM MUSIC PRODUCTIONS AND RECORDINGS.
CUSTOM MUSIC PRODUCTION:
A small amount of music can sometimes make the difference between an interesting tape and an exciting presentation. We can create custom themes, background music, or "sound logo's" to add another dimension to your companies identity. Sound effects and stock music are also available.
- CUSTOMIZED INTROS AND OUTROS
- SOUND LOGOS AND BACKGROUND MUSIC TO ADD A PROFESSIONAL EDGE TO YOUR PRODUCTION.
CASSETTE DUPLICATION:
Duplication is the final link in the chain between the recording session and the finished cassette. Many people try to save by using low cost, low quality cassette tapes. This can undermine all the effort that went into making a quality recording by leaving you with a hiss filled, low fidelity tape. We offer quality chrome cassettes at the price of normal bias "voice" cassettes. You no longer need to sacrifice quality for quantity.
- QUALITY DUPLICATION (Specializing in small runs, 1-1000 copies)
- QUALITY CASSETTES ( Not the usual "voice" quality cassettes)
