The full sources for the 1.0.1 release of Sun's Java(tm) Developers Kit (JDK) are now available.

If you have a Beta 1.0 license (or no license), you will need to execute a new license for JDK 1.0.1 . See the source information below for more information on how to do so.

If you already have a 1.0 FCS license (original signer only), please send email to src-admin@java.sun.com with the following information:

• Full name
• Company/institution name
• Telephone number
• Fax number
• Preferred distribution format: Zip file, gzipped tar file or compressed tar file

The sources in the JDK 1.0.1 Source Release have been compiled on both Solaris 2.X SPARC-based machines and Windows 95 and Windows NT PCs. Porting Sun's Java Language to other platforms is not trivial and represents a significant commitment.
