Georgia Tech conducts research in a broad range of disciplines, including:
architecture, bioengineering and biosciences, chemistry and chemical
processes, computing, electrical and electronic systems, energy,
environment, the humanities, industrial and mechanical systems, management,
manufacturing,
materials, mathematics, microelectronics, physics, psychology, public
policy, structures, technology transfer, telecommunications, and
transportation.
This research is conducted by Georgia Tech's academic
colleges, the Georgia Tech
Research Institute (GTRI), and the interdisciplinary research centers.
Annual research expenditures total approximately $175 million.
