Cancer Screening and Prevention

The prevention of cancer is a key component of a comprehensive program in oncology research and education. To advance knowledge in this area, HCOG is collaborating with the Harvard-affiliated hospitals and the Center for Cancer Prevention at the Harvard School of Public Health in the development of a new Cancer Screening and Prevention Program.

The program is focusing on the development of innovative research strategies in the area of cancer screening and prevention. Researchers are also exploring opportunities to implement such programs throughout the state.
