The Department of Molecular Biology and Pharmacology
Welcome to our WWW pages. The Department of Molecular Biology and
Pharmacology is located on the third floors of the South Building and
the
McDonnell Science Building at Washington University Medical School.
The research interests of the
faculty
cover a wide range of topics from drug design and molecular modelling to
areas of development and gene regulation in organisms and organ systems,
from Saccharomyces
to Drosophila, mice and humans. A diverse body of
graduate students from the many programs offered in the Division of
Biology
and Biomedical Sciences, post-doctoral and M.D. fellows, and other
research personnel add to the
interactive atmosphere in the department
and at the university.
