Academy President Arthur Hiller is joined by Oscar show producer Quincy Jones in announcing the 1995 Oscar nominations. The always-anticipated annual announcements were be made at 5:38 a.m. in the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater. A 13-page list of achievements nominated for the 68th Academy Awards was distributed to more than 700 credentialed media with nine categories read from the podium by Hiller and Jones. | |
The announcement was telecast live on the three network morning shows, CNN, E! Entertainment Television, and up to a dozen other television outlets. Additionally, the nominations list was available on-line after the announcement via the Official Interactive Guide to the Academy Awards at http://oscars.guide.com and on ABC On-Line on America Online. | |
