MS "ESTONIA" disaster

I'll try to collect here some of the important background information about the disaster of the MS "Estonia". As frequent ferry-traveler myself, it could have been easily myself on the boat. I feel I should do something to try to help those people who have lost so much in that disaster - one of the worst in all over the world.

The current pages will also be assigned to the memory of three young men I knew personally and now sleeping in the sea...

How can I support the victims and their relatives?
Follow the situation development as reported by E-LIST. Please note that usually each E-LIST mail can contain many smaller messages in its body. Estonian subject doesn't mean that all the messages are in Estonian. You can find almost all official press releases and information from these messages.
