The Graduate School is responsible for ...

  • Administering the university's policies and procedures concerning
    the admission of graduate students and certification of students
    for graduation.

  • Administering procedures and policies for graduate program and course approval, modification, and evaluation.

  • Coordinating and supporting graduate student recruitment.

  • Soliciting funding for and allocating graduate student financial support through graduate assistantships, fellowships, and scholarships.

  • Providing leadership and support for faculty development through research, creativity, other scholarly activities and through solicitation of external funding for research and sponsored programs.

  • Encouraging the establishment of interdisciplinary programs and curricular offerings at the graduate level.
