DESCRIPTION
The Domespace frame is made of laminated beams, and the roof is made of red cedar shingles. The insulation which is made of wood pulp is also a natural product. The entire house is made with renewable resources and have received the highest environmental award in Europe.

ROTATION
To take advantage of lighting, scenery and passive heat, the Domespace may be rotated 300 degrees in any of 3 ways:

Since it is perfectly balanced, it may be rotated manually
From inside the home by an electric motor
By a computer controlled electric motor

FOUNDATION
The Domespace Home lies on a concrete foundation which can also house a cellar or a garage.

Optimum use of space
Pre-fabricated partitions can be added throught the home to create as many rooms as you like
Increased natural lighting due to the angle of the windows
Compatible with any furniture style

HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT

Humidity and moisture do not penetrate inside the house because of our exclusive use of wood.
Earthquake resistant.
The dome shape and the extensive use of laminated wood arches convey a feeling of peace and serenity, helping to ease the tension and stress of daily living.

HEATING
The spherical shape is better adapted to maintaining comfortable room temperature: Warm in winter, nice and cool in summer. A central fireplace can be added if desired. The roof is perfectly adapted to any solar energy device.
