Welcome to the Telecommunications Center's Professional Development and Training Home Page. One of the Center's main missions is to further the professional education and training of students by incorporating public telecommunications services with a real-world laboratory experience for students and volunteers.

Although separate administratively, the Center works closely with related academic programs in Telecommunications, Journalism, Communications Systems Management, Computer Science and others.

This area of our Web server provides more details on the Center's Undergraduate Student work experience training, and a cooperative program with the School of Telecommunications in which Public Broadcasting Scholars can attend a special Master's Degree program at Ohio University.

Telecommunications Center graduates are active in all phases of the communications industry. We're proud of our role in preparing them for their careers in electronic media, and look forward to the challenges of the future as new students take their place assisting the Center in its public service activities.
