Translation, especially for product localization, is our specialty. We translate documents from or into English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish, German, and most other languages in a wide range of disciplines. In the past, we completed several large projects from English to Chinese and vice versa. Many Taiwanese desktop computer and notebook manufacturers rely on Pristine to render their manuals in French, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese and Korean. The Paperless Office

Pristine is leading the way in Taiwan when it comes to translation in on-line formats such as HTML and SGML. Since we made the step into the information edge by becoming Taiwan's first private ISP , the larger technical staff further improved the quality of our technical writing and the scale of our in-house equipment and services. Pristine is working with state-of-the-art software and translation tools, such as the IBM Translation Manager to assure highest quality standards.

Interaction with the Client

Long documents are not translated by a single translator, which would limit the timing of the project, but by a team of translators. To guarantee quality, we assign to each project a project manager who oversees the entire translation process. Once your translation is completed, it is edited and proofread by our staff or professionals. Often, the project manager will require a contact person in your organization to check specialized terminology and proper nouns. The goal is to deliver not a standard translation, but a translation that fits your needs and requirement as an OEM manufacturer maybe, advertising agent or distributor.

The European Union's CE Standard

Starting January 1, 1996, all countries in the European Union require documentation for the majority of industrial machinery and products to abide by the CE Standard. This standard dictates in detail the content and format of manuals written for machines like injection molding machines, cars or robots.

We at Pristine are familiar with the CE Standard and can make sure that your product documentation passes the rigorous tests of the certifying bodies.

Interpretation Services

A number of skilled interpretors for many European languages and certainly English/Chinese interpretation are available around the year. From international conferences to sales shows and business talk. From academic forums to massage workshops. We use certified and professional interpreters for language combinations such as English-German-Chinese, Spanish-English, French-Chinese, Italian-English-Chinese, Dutch-Chinese-English, and many more, with fields of expertise reaching from PC technology, plastic injection molding, industrial robots, passenger car assembly to Chinese and Western medicine, nuclear physics and molecular biology.

While English, Chinese, German, French and Spanish interpretation services are available at all times, make sure you call ahead at least 10 days for all other language combinations.
