Panix subscribers can obtain custom-configured software for Dialup-IP connections. There is no requirement that you use this software, but it's available if you want it.
It is available only from a Panix IP connection or from one of the Panix user hosts (via lynx). If you are a Dialup-IP customer logging in from another site, you will need either to login to a Panix host and use your shell account to obtain the software or wait until you are connected from your own site (or another in the Panix domain).
