PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Product Development Work with small dedicated teams of world-class software engineers to design and implement new, sophisticated Microsoft products, while defining the future of personal computing. Use state-of-the-art engineering technologies and be involved in all phases of the product life cycle.
Product Marketing Define and implement the marketing plans for Microsoft products. This includes conducting competitive, consumer and new business analysis, working closely as part of the product development team, and working with Division Marketing groups to leverage division marketing activities.
Program Management Drive all aspects of product development from design and implementation through release for next-generation Microsoft products. Define how engineering teams are to implement functionality, and coordinate the testing, localization, user education and marketing activities; making feature tradeoff decision, while owning the schedule and ensuring the product ships on time. Software Testing Design and implement testing software and test cases for Microsoft products. Contribute to the product design by creating/evaluating specifications, running cases to troubleshoot software bugs, and recommending changes to implement.
Test Development Design, develop and implement applications to verify the functionality and ensure proper integration of components that make up Microsoft products.
User Education/Documentation Work closely with program management, product marketing and development to create and research new documentation approaches or internal processes.
Product Support A team of highly skilled support engineers, program managers, and technical account managers who provide technical support for external customers to ensure post purchase satisfaction.
Sales & Marketing These employees are responsible for generating new business and maintaining current forms of revenue through tactics such as developing new territories, introducing new products and customer service.
