IGC staff are responsible for the operations of IGC's networks: PeaceNet, EcoNet, WomensNet, ConflictNet, and LaborNet. IGC is involved with projects, such as:

• The delivery of third-world news sources
• The support of United Nations projects
• The dissemination of human rights information
• Support of organizations representing indigenous peoples, environmental advocates, and people of color.

Technical: IGC currently has an opening on its technical team.

• Network Operations Intern
  IGC has a one-year internship position open in the network operations group. The ideal candidate would be interested in permanent employment with IGC. The network operations group is a small team that maintains and develops IGC's online service, develops new tools, works "on call" to solve emergencies, provides service to our international partners, and plans for improvement and expansion of our service. In particular, we seek a person with enthusiasm for system administration under UNIX, and who is interested in learning more.
