This document has originally been marked up at Ikeda Lab., being compliant to the International Standard IEC 417. The renewed document system with unique features is a result of 1994 Master's work of Mr. Satoshi Matsumura developed over his successors'. Japanese translations has been provided by the Graphical Symbols Working Group, Electronic Industries Association of Japan.

The document provides quite different views to the graphical symbols in comparison with the paper-based publication. In questionable cases, please refer to the original publication of the IEC.
