The microelectronics division includes TEMIC TELEFUNKEN microelectronic GmbH (TEMIC) and the Opto- and Vacuum Electronics activity.

The TEMIC range of products and services extends from semiconductor elements to microsystem technology and out to vehicle electronics systems and airbag gas generators. TEMIC has development, production and sales companies in 37 countries. Production sites are located in the Philippines, Taiwan, China, USA and in Mexico. The core markets for TEMIC are the computer industry, telecommunications and the automotive business.
