Group

Welcome to the home page of the Neural Networks group at the Department of Computer Science and MATRIKS, University of Maastricht (the Netherlands). Here you can find information on the group's main interests, the group's people, current projects, and an overview of relevant group member's publications. Furthermore, we have included some pointers to Neural Networks overview pages from all over the WWW.

* Main interests

Keywords that most roughly characterize the application areas of connectionist modelling that the group is interested in, are vision, memory and language. Main research targets of the group are the neural modelling of vision, covert attention, and memory (more generally, biological systems); the application of ideas from statistical physics to ANN modelling; and investigating the applicability of connectionist learning techniques to linguistic (morpho/phonological) domains.
