UC Berkeley Email Query Form

The Community Profile Dataset (CPD) accessed through this www form contains records for all current faculty, staff, and students at U.C. Berkeley.

Last Name:
(Enter search string for last name, e.g., "smith")

First Name:
(Enter search string for first name, e.g., "j")

Email Account:
(Enter search string for email account name, e.g., "smith")

Examples:
Last Name: 'smith' returns last names smith, smithers, ...
First Name: 'j' returns names john, jim, jill, ...
Last Name: 'smith' and First Name: 'j' returns names john smith, jill smithers, ...
Email Account: 'smith' returns email accounts smith, smithj, smithm, ...
Email Account: 'smith,' returns exact match on email accounts with smith...

Address information, if available, will be listed for faculty, staff, and students if three or fewer records are found for your search string.

You can change your preferred email address in the Community Profile Dataset (CPD) --the email address that people will see when they use this form--by using the UC Berkeley Email Update Form. The use of this form is restricted to UC Berkeley only. An update screen will appear which requires student or staff ID, last name, birth month and birth day. You can then enter your new email account and system. The change will take place immediately. Send comments and questions to cpadmin@profile.berkeley.edu.

The address and telephone information that is displayed comes from the Campus Telephone Book and the Student Database.

To update faculty and staff information in the Campus Telephone Directory, submit a directory update form to the Telecommunications Office. Directory Listing Update Forms and instructions can be found in the Campus Telephone Directory.
