Adobe Technology Exchange -- ATX -- is a traditional user group, fully endorsed by Adobe Systems Incorporated.

ATX is an international users group, chartered to promote the exchange of information and ideas among users of Adobe technologies and related products.

ATX acts as a liaison and educational resource among Adobe Systems, its licensed OEMs, and users of Adobe Systems products and technologies.

ATX provides regular forums for users at local, regional, national and international levels.

ATX helps to promote the use of Adobe products and technologies as universally accepted business communications tools and document generation enablers.

ATX is an independent, not for profit corporation, run and managed by a professional management firm outside of Adobe.

Membership

ATX membership is not limited to any single group or niche. Members work at small graphics houses and advertising agencies; are part of universities and community colleges; run prepress operations or service bureaus; work in local, state and federal government; are journalists and other publishing industry specialists; belong to small and large corporate enterprises; and in many cases, are heavy-duty PostScript programmers.

They all share a common need to know and exchange information regarding Adobe products and technologies in order to perform their jobs more productively.
