Welcome to the IMS Radio on the Internet homepage. We've been serving up audio via the Internet continuously since the first "Geek of the Week" program went on-line on April 1, 1993. Today we host one of the world's largest audio-on-demand archives, with over 200 hours of programming dealing with a diverse range of subjects including Technology and Society, Arts and Enjoyment, and Public Affairs.
In addition to our audio-on-demand archive, IMS provides regular live multicasting feeds including the U.S. Congress when in session.
All audio is available in .au format. Most is also in .gsm format, and in Progressive Network's RealAudio (.ra) format. We now support Xing Technology's Streamworks for live feeds such as World Radio Network. Our entire audio archive is also available for FTP.
