University of Wisconsin-Madison
Department of Physics Phenomenology Institute
The Phenomenology Institute explores areas of high energy physics with the aim of bridging the gap between theory and experiment. Research topics pursued here include supersymmetry, grand unified theories, Higgs boson physics, gauge theories of strong and electroweak interactions, astroparticle physics, quarkonia, neutrino physics, and more. The institute makes extensive use of computational simulations and maintains close connections with several experimental groups around the world.
