INFO-MAC (36.44.0.6)
The biggest of the macintosh ftp sites. They also provide a message "list", the info-mac digests.
Mac Archive at the University of Michigan (141.211.32.2)
This site has a great variety of files, many not available elsewhere. A great abundance of Fonts, both Adobe and True type. Has been accused of over using the sub-directory concept.
WUARCHIVE (128.252.135.4)
Lots of mirrors at this site; including three mac sites: sumex {/mirrors/info-mac}, rascal.ics.utexas.edu {/mirrors/rascal.ics.utexas.edu}, and mac.archive.umich.edu {mirrors/archive.umich.edu/mac}. It also keeps files long deleted from the archives it shadows {/systems/mac/info-mac/Old.} Also shadows several non Mac archives. This can be handy for accessing a number of directories quickly.

The NCBI has developed a CD-ROM based system for browsing records in a subset of the NLM's MEDLINE medical bibliographic database. This is know as Entrez. Ordering info is available online.
