National Recognition
- Bradley was ranked ninth among regional colleges or universities in
the Midwest in the 1995 America's Best Colleges Guide prepared by
U.S. News & World Report.
- Bradley was also ranked ninth among regional colleges or universities
in the Midwest as a ``Best Value'' by U.S. News & World Report.
- In 1993, Bradley enrolled more National Merit Scholars than the
University of Illinois, Notre Dame, Purdue, the University of Michigan,
or Johns Hopkins University.
- In 1994, three graduating seniors were awarded Fulbright Scholarships
for study abroad.
- Bradley's speech team has been called by the Associated Press ``the
nation's dominant college speech team.'' In the spring of 1994 the team
won the National Forensics Association Tournament for the seventh
consecutive year and took second place honors in the American Forensics
Association Tournament.
- As part of the Undergraduate Research Scholarship Program in
1993-94, 11 papers co-authored by students and faculty have been
published and 27 have delivered at professional conferences.
- Of the 105 colleges of business which have accredited
undergraduate, graduate, and accounting programs, the Foster College of
Business Administration at Bradley becomes the 21st named college of
business administration in the nation, joining such schools as the
Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the University of
Pennsylvania, the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth, and the Kellogg School
of Business at Northwestern University.
