PRICING
Project fees can be determined in several ways:
- Hourly: Standard rate of $35/hour.
- Bid: After discussing your project needs I will give you a bid for the total price of the assignment.
- Budget: You can make an offer based on your budget limitations.
HOURLY
I will try to give you a reasonable estimate of the time required for the project but reserve the right to add or subtract time as necessary. While working on the project I will keep a strict log of the time I spend working on it. A copy of this log will be included with your final invoice.
BID
The total price quoted for the project will be valid unless more than two major revisions are made during sketch approval, or any revision is made after the final art has been completed. In the event of extra revisions a new fee will be quoted before the revisions go ahead. Note that if I make a bid that turns out to be too low for the time involved I will NOT change the price - my mistake is my problem, not yours.
BUDGET
If you have a limited budget for whatever reason please state this at the outset. Don't worry about offending me with a low offer; I will do my best to accomodate your financial restrictions.
TERMS
The following terms will apply to all projects unless otherwise agreed upon in writing:
- 50% of the total fee will be required before starting the project. For hourly projects this will be based on the rough time estimate.
- I will retain ownership and all reproduction rights to the artwork. For most projects the client will be granted First North American Rights for use of the artwork.
- I will receive at least two copies of the publication or item where the artwork is used.
- Client will be required to provide current address, telephone number, and social security number or current driver's license number.
