The Swedish Regional Climate Modelling Programme, SWECLIM, financed jointly by MISTRA (Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research) and SMHI (Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute), aims to increase our knowledge of the effects of climate change in Sweden and the other Nordic countries. The primary goal is to support Swedish planners and decision-makers with consistent and authoritative assessments of the development of the future climate based on the best possible prediction techniques. SWECLIM is a co-operation between the Rossby Centre at SMHI, the Research section, SMHI-If, at SMHI and the following research groups in Sweden: |
