At Plattville 63 La Crosse 44 Platteville jumped out to an early lead and defeated the Eagles 63-44 before 1700 at Platteville's Williams Fieldhouse. After cutting the lead to 9-8 with 14:40 left in the first half, the Eagles were outscored 16-4 and found themself down 13 late in the first half. The halftime score was 35-21, with Eric Dudek scoring nine at the break for UW-L. In the second half, the Pioneers pushed the lead higher and eventually got it up to 22 before settiling for a 19 point win in a game that they led from start to finish. The Eagles shot a putrid 1-19 outside of the paint, including 0-11 from behind the three point stripe. In addition, they were outrebounded 37-22. WIth the win, Platteville went to 6-1 (2-0 WSUC) while the Eagles dropped their second straight game and fell to 4-2 (0-2 in WSUC). Jay Daly was 5-7 FG and had 12 points and 4 rebounds to lead La Crosse in both categories. Eric Dudek added 11. The reigning Division III Champs, Platteville was led by Ben Hoffman's 13 points. The game was played 12-6-95.
