Freeway Speeds

Current San Diego Area Freeway Speeds

This time/date: should agree within a minute or two with the one on the map, if not, "Reload" or "Reload Images" to get the current map.
If you are having trouble downloading the map, I highy recommend the new Mosaic Communications "NetScape" web browsers - - they work very well with the traffic report. You can download them from www.mcom.com for free.

If you get a load error on the map, you managed to access it just as the file is being updated -- just 'reload' immediately (you must also make sure that the image is reloaded). If you get a 'sad face' picture, either the feed's down or my coding's core dumped -- check back later.

Remember, you've got to 'Reload' in the browser to get the image to update!

Click on a road sign to get the status page for that freeway. Click on a colored dot to get the status page for that location. I know - it ain't easy to hit the little suckers -- I'm working on it! Click on the ocean to get the surf and current water temperatures off the coast. (Courtesy of SurfNet). Click on the airplanes to get SD air transport info. Click on the rail transit icons to get local rail transit info. Click on the bus icon to get bus transit info. Click on Scripp's Pier to get the water/weather conditions.
