• What is a category?
  A category within Yahoo's directory is just a subject heading. For example, Entertainment is a category as Music is a sub-category within the Entertainment category. And, hence, 'Entertainment/Music/Artists' would be the category to place a site about the Beatles.

• What is a VALID category for submitting an add request?
  A completely VALID Yahoo category is a full path from the top of the Yahoo directory. For example, Entertainment/Music/Artists would be the proper category for a new page about the Beatles. Multiple categories are allowed if you feel it is necessary. You can place them in the Additional Categories box.
