Since 1990, vivid studios has been producing interactive multimedia and software products in the business, entertainment, and publishing industries. vivid's focus in online place and CD-ROM title development uniquely positions them as a leader in developing new forms of communication and interaction. The company was recently named one of the top 40 design firms in the U.S. by the influential I.D. Magazine, and its list of clients include Sony, News Corp, The WELL, Fox, and HotWired. In 1993, vivid produced Multimedia Demystified, a how-to guide for developers, which has since been adopted as an industry standard, and the recently published book Careers in Multimedia (available in bookstores now). Located in San Francisco's "Multimedia Gulch," a center of creative and technical innovation in multimedia, vivid has access to some of the best talent in the industry, from visionary digital artists to talented programmers who push the tools to new levels.
