Madrigal Music

The Heidelberg Madrigal Choir, founded by Gerald Kegelmann in 1971, is well known for its outstanding interpretations of a-cappella music, whether traditional or modern. But the musical program also includes oratorios and other great works of church music. Professor Gerald Kegelmann chairs the "Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Heidelberg-Mannheim", the State College for Music Heidelberg-Mannheim. The choir's schedule for 1995 will include a "Peace Concert" in remembrance of the German capitulation.
