Advanced Data Division (ADD)

Advanced Data Division Objective:

The Advanced Data Division is responsible for the full line of CHALLENGE servers, and is devoted to establishing Silicon Graphics in the database, file, and media server markets through both direct and indirect channels.

ADD is also dedicated to discovering and developing new ways to search for, store, manage, and use data, through what we call data mining. Data mining is the process of executing complex, multi-variable pattern recognition tasks on huge quantities of data to gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace. The CHALLENGE family of servers is designed specifically for this purpose.
