WWW Conference '94 -- HPCC/NLM Remote Conference Site
The National Coordination Office (NCO)
for High Performance Computing and Communications
(HPCC)
and the National Library of Medicine (NLM)
are pleased to be providing a remote site which will be
receiving the multicasted audio and video from the
Second International World-Wide Web Conference being held in Chicago,
on 18-20 October 1994.
Agendas are available for both the
full conference,
and only the
multicasted sessions.
Separate agendas are also available for
each day of the conference.
IMPORTANT: Only the multicasts of the main Conference,
on Tuesday 18 October and Wednesday 19 October,
will be carried at this site.
(Developers Day on 20 October is being multicasted,
but not received at the NLM remote site).
If you are interested in attending this remote site, please read the
description of the limitations of multicasting technology
to be certain that you are comfortable with the limitations of this
experimental technology.
Audio can be sent from the NLM site to the main conference in Chicago,
and NLM participants will be encouraged to participate by asking
questions during the question periods.

and follow the signs to the remote conference room.

- Attendees should register in advance or risk being turned away at
the door.

- Transportation:
- There are many ways to
get to
the NLM;
visitor parking is very restrictive; use of Metro is encouraged.
The NLM is very near the Medical Center stop on the Red Line.
PLEASE NOTE: The HPCC conference room is reached by passing through
a small but busy reception/office area.
Please be quiet when passing through this area,
and do not disrupt the work going on by loitering,
or by asking to use telephones or other services.
A printed handout will be made available at the conference room door,
with complete instructions as to where to find telephones, restrooms,
places to eat lunch, etc.
