Take the red line heading in the direction for Shady Grove, leaving at the Medical Center stop (see map). A long escalator takes you to a small plaza; turn left, and walk due south (parallel to Wisconsin Avenue on your left). The tower of the National Naval Medical Center will be on your left, across Wisconsin Avenue. You will have to skirt a large construction project, and walk across several small parking areas, and you should then be able to see the NLM building complex.
