BENEFITS
5-minute installation
An intuitive and easy-to-use installation recognizes existing network configurations and gets you running in 5 minutes. Dynamic
Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) eases client administration for network administrators by automatically assigning IP addresses
and other configuration information from a DHCP server. Centralized server installation reduces the time required to install across
large networks. With PC/TCP's easy installation, you save time, minimize costs, and increase productivity within all environments,
from small workgroups to large corporate networks, including those with remote users.
High-performance, TSR-based TCP/IP
PC/TCP's TSR kernel provides complete support for users wanting to network in both DOS and Windows. With its unparalleled
level of reliability and a proven TCP/IP implementation for the PC, the TSR kernel offers advanced networking features such as
multicast, gateway fallback, and router discovery. Other advanced functionality includes NFS client and NetBIOS.
Over 25 Windows applications
With PC/TCP, you have access to a whole new world of Windows applications. For example, Windows Sockets-based
applications include network backup, FTP client & server, print server, DHCP client, Telnet, and more. Other advanced Windows
applications include graphical network statistics, server and network control, and PC/TCP configuration. The server utility makes it
easy to share files and printers with other users. Simply click on an icon to easily manage network connections and configurations.
Remote access dialing
Access network resources from anywhere - home, hotel room, or remote customer site. PC/TCP's advanced serial line
Windows Dialer enables easy access to worldwide remote networks and the Internet by automating tasks such as dialing the
modem, logging into a network server, and establishing connections. Answer a few simple questions to create a custom dial up
script and icon for your corporate network or Internet access provider.
