 
The S-class offers not only a high level of comfort for you and your passengers but also maximum safety. Special efforts have been made to enhance protection in the event of a lateral impact. To this end, we have substantially reinforced the S-class pillars. In addition, a newly developed assembly frame between the front pillars increases the transverse stability in the area of the bulkhead in the event of a lateral collision. At the same time, this assembly frame prevents the components close to the dashboard from being pushed into the passenger compartment in the event of a frontal crash.
