The Beatles
Welcome to the Beatles' information page. We intend this to be a collection
of links to various Beatles related information sources on the net. If
you notice any errors or have suggestions for additions, please send mail to

Beatles information on the net
- bobcat.bbn.com Lots of info culled over
the years from rec.music.beatles
-
The music archive at UWP contains lyrics to songs and other
information about a large number of groups. The archive includes
a good
Beatles Section with lots of information. Unfortunately, UWP
has discontinued gopher service, and is only available via an FTP
server that most web clients seem unable to deal with correctly.
Please note that UWP restricts the number of connections to the archive.
If you can't get a connection, or just get a blank menu, try again during
non-working hours.
- The All-Music Guide
contains a huge collection of albums and reviews. Including a
large file on the Beatles with a short biography, complete
discography, with short reviews and lists of session
musicians, and more.
- Andy Burnett's
on-line music database contains over 1,000 entries of records and
their track listings. There are only a few entries for
The Beatles. Perhaps an enterprising fan will
enter some more?
- The On-Line Guitar Archive contains Guitar chords to Beatles songs. If you can't access Olga
from this link (to uunet), look at the OLGA FAQ for mirror sites.
- The Backwards Beatles page contains some
reversed Beatles sounds, some of which supposedly reveal hidden messages.
- Alan Braverman has built another
Beatles Home Page. It mirrors some of the information available on
UWP.
- Foxx's Beatle Page has (among other things) Beatles sounds in .wav format, and a hypertext Recording Variations guide, indexed by song title.
- Mike Markowski's Beatles Page contains some nice information and images, including LP and EP discographies with sleeve notes
- Maurizio Codogno has set up a
Beatles FTP site in
Italy. It mirrors some of the information available on bobcat and may
provide faster access if you're coming from Europe.
- The newsgroup rec.music.beatles
