The "Net"

Sandra Bullock stars as 'Angela' in Columbia Pictures' "The Net", a gripping techno-thriller in which a reclusive computer systems analyst becomes caught in a murderous web of intrigue when she accidentally taps into a program she was never supposed to see.

Angela is a solitary software troubleshooter; a well-paid freelancer operating out of her home, Angela generally spends her days ironing out bugs in games designed for adolescent boys. One day, she is asked by a colleague to analyze a puzzling prototype of a new computer program. This is where Angelas trouble begins...

The compelling drama is being directed by Academy-Award Winning Filmmaker Irwin Winkler who also produces "The Net" with Rob Cowan. Starring with Ms. Bullock are British stage star Jeremy Northam and Dennis Miller.

The Net is currently being shot on location in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington D.C. and is scheduled for a late Summer/Fall 1995 release.
