A few of us computer types went to the stones concert at Giants Stadium. Stephan tried to swing us
backstage/press passes, but only got 2 press passes... So, since I do all the
work around here, I had to wait out in the parking lot,
and never saw the stones. With press passes,
you are allowed in for only two or three songs, but you get to be in the press
pit with cameras, which is front stage center. Our
photographer, Karim Ek, was there. He shot off about 6 rolls of film in the
space of ten minutes. We have the better contact sheets and "high-res" scans
of his work here.
I wrote up a shotlist
of things we wanted you all out in netland to see. We were unable to get alot
of it; it was stupid to think that we would get anywhere near the stones
backstage.
