The Petrie Prize Lecture
The Petrie Lecture is an invited discourse by an outstanding astrophysicist which is held at Annual
Meetings of the Canadian Astronomical Society in alternate (currently odd-numbered) years. The Lecture
is in memory of the significant contributions to astrophysical research by the late Robert M. Petrie.
To assist the CASCA Board of Directors in their choice for the 1995 Lecture, suggestions from the
community are being solicited. Please address these to the Board through the Awards Committee*.
The closing date for receipt of suggestions is November 15, 1994.
